OUR philosophy

Design that celebrates the beauty and chaos of real life.

Based in Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Megan Opel Interiors is a boutique studio specializing in residential interior design. Meg’s style, described as coastal, colorful, and traditional, combines pieces with clean lines alongside more traditional antiques with provenance. Adding in generous doses of texture and woven materials, her interiors breathe a sense of effortless elegance to the home. Meg embraces and celebrates the beauty and chaos of real life, and believes a happy home is one in which guests are invited in freely and offered a glass of wine, while small children and dogs weave in and out through the furniture.

"Meg is a passionate, creative, approachable, and detail-oriented designer with expertise in all realms of renovation. There were a myriad of decisions to make in our construction project, from plumbing fixture selection and lighting placement to cabinetry details and fabric selection, and Meg guided us through each and every one.  She has helped us create a beautiful, comfortable home that fits our family's lifestyle."
